NewSouth Performance Announces Indigo™ TDI Boost Gauge, Silver Gauge Trim Rings, Mk5 Dual ColumnPod, and Oil Temp Sender Mounting Solution

Chapel Hill, NC, March 26, 2008 NewSouth Performance, LLC announces the latest member of its Indigo™ gauge family, a 0-35 PSI boost gauge. Designed with the TDI engine in mind, the 35 PSI range takes care of cars with larger turbos and modified software. It even comes with an exclusive NoBuzz™ fitting for TDIs.

A new option for the Indigo gauge family is an add-on silver trim ring. These silver rings are custom-designed to slip over the Indigo gauge bezels. Made of dent-resistant stamped steel, they are low-profile and powdercoated to match the instrument panel trim.

The latest ColumnPod is a dual pod for Mk5 GTIs, Golfs, Jettas and Rabbits. In addition, it will fit the B6 chassis Passats and the EOS.

We have expanded our oil temperature sender mounting options with the PlugPort™. It is used for attaching a 1/8" NPT oil temperature sender in the oil pan. Made from steel like the original VW/Audi drain plug, it also comes with a genuine VAG aluminum crush washer. The PlugPort will fit most VW Mk1-Mk5 oil pans with M14x1.5 threaded drain plugs.
