JOLIET, ILInterested in learning the basics of high-performance driving, or simply want to drive your car on a racetrack? TrackDaze High-Performance (www.trackdaze.com) Driving Experience (HPDE) Program gives drivers a chance to test their skills and learn from talented instructors in a venue designed for safe spirited driving far away from the risks present on the street. TrackDaze High-Performance Driving, in conjunction with The Autobarn Volkswagen, announces a two-day HPDE event at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, 2008. Autobarn Volkswagen and TrackDaze have teamed up to invite Volkswagen owners to attend this event. During this two-day HPDE, you will receive professional classroom instruction on safety, vehicle dynamics and driving techniques. While on track, Beginner/Novice level drivers will receive in-car instruction from certified driving instructors that will take the concepts of the classroom and apply it to the real world of on-track high-speed driving. Not to be left out, there are also groups for the Intermediate level track enthusiasts with previous experience all the way up to the Advanced Group for the “hard core” track veterans and racers. The cost of the event is $325 for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Drivers. This includes: 1. Four 30-minute “on-track” sessions per day! Four hours of track time over the two-day event. 2. Catered lunch courtesy of The Autobarn, hosted at their Motorsports Unit at the track. 3. A long-sleeve event T-shirt. As if all of that wasn’t enough.
