OEMplus announces new URL, new website, new warehouse and service facility

Laguna Hills, CA, July 1, 2009 OEMplus recently completed the acquisition of www.oemplus.com to replace their existing www.oempl.us domain as their new home on the Internet. "The .us domain worked well when we were first starting out, but as we grew it became clear that a .com domain would be required," says owner Richard Barker. The new oemplus.com domain was purchased after lengthy negotiations with the existing registrant and should clear up confusion surrounding the old URL syntax.

In conjunction with the new domain purchase, the website has been redeveloped from the ground up. The goals for the site were ease of use, simple navigation and a refreshing design. "We were always getting compliments on how easy it was to move around and find products on our old site, so we knew that was key going forward," says VP Josh Segelson. "The old layout was a bit plain, so we wanted to brighten it up and add a few new features along the way." Online shipping calculations, product reviews and customer account areas are improved and additional features are slated in the weeks after the site goes live. "The site design was created by Bernie at Dub Nation, who has done some other sites for us. He really hit a home run for us on this one," adds Josh.



Continuing the theme of new and improved, OEMplus has moved to a location 25% larger than their previous space with more offices, larger warehouse area, additional vehicle storage and improved customer access. ěWe found a location that was close to several of our service vendors, so the decision was easy. Now the custom paint, upholstery, tint and vinyl services we offer are all within 100 yards of our facilityî Richard stated.
