APTuning Announces 02A/02J Lower Pinion Girdle

Automotive Performance Tuning LLC would like to introduce a new product added to our line of 02A/02J race transmission upgrades.

Our newest designed piece is the APTuning Lower Pinion Bearing Girdle. This product is designed to help support the pinion bearing and race, by bolting to the pinion support studs inside the bellhousing.We have found under the extreme conditions the pinion will push down and spread from the ring gear. This will cause the case to crack and usually end in catastrophic failure.



The girdle is machined out of billet steel, the transmission bellhousing is also machined to match the inside diameter of the girdle, we have found this way to provide the best lateral and axial support with a slip fit versus a loose fit around the stock casting. Therefor customers will need to supply their bellhousing for modification and fitment of the Lower Pinion Bearing Girdle(turn around time of 2-3 days).

Retail will be $299.00 and is currently on sale for $259.00 (This includes bellhousing modification)
