Worthersee 2014’s Best- Volkswagen Golf 3 / Jetta 3 Builds Share Comments Worthersee 2014 was one for the recordbooks. Coming in at roughly six times larger than Waterfest, there was plenty to see and do around the lakeside town of Reifnitz during the roughly two week invasion of cars manufactured by the Volkswagen Group. To streamline things a bit, we have gone through our nearly two thousand photos to bring you the best of the best. Here is our list of the best third generation Volkswagen Golf and Jetta models in attendance in no particular order. Si Gray spotted this GTI powered by a Turbocharged VR6 on Day 6 of his coverage, looking quite cool with its red striped trim and KIA wheels. Featuring a custom upholstered interior with Porsche seats and miles of quilted leather, this Cabrio caught our eyes on day 14. With a turbocharged VR6 and wide bodywork amongst any other more subtle modifications, this Mk3 GTI had a great motorsport-inspired theme. First seen on day 12, this Cabrio was executed extremely well, with Rotiform wheels and a nice drop. On day 14, George Achorn saw this Cabrio cruising around Reifnitz with a Jetta front end conversion and BBS RS wheels. So how did we do? Be sure to let us know in the comments, and check out the entire Mk3 gallery from Worthersee, right here.
