Worthersee 2014’s Best- Volkswagen Golf / Jetta 4, 5, and 6 Builds Share Comments Worthersee 2014 was one for the recordbooks. Coming in at roughly six times larger than Waterfest, there was plenty to see and do around the lakeside town of Reifnitz during the roughly two week invasion of cars manufactured by the Volkswagen Group. To streamline things a bit, we have gone through our nearly two thousand photos to bring you the best of the best. Here is our list of the best fourth, fifth and sixth generation Volkswagen Golf and Jetta models in attendance in no particular order. Si Gray saw this Mk5 R32 finished in Matte Red with concave Rotiform BLQs on day three. On day four of our coverage, this Mk4 R32 was seen cruising around town lowered on BBS Motorsport wheels. Day five brought with it this Mk5 with Ferrari 458 wheels, massive brake calipers and a front end completely redone in carbon fiber. Si Gray spotted this Mk6 GTD shortly after arriving in town on day one, sitting low on static (!) coilover suspension, custom wheels and big brakes. This white R32 was spotted around town by Si Gray, sitting on RS 4 wheels and featuring a turbocharged VR6 among many other modifications. On day two Si Gray caught this Mk6 cruising with its widened fenders and RS 4 wheels. Also on day two, Si Gray saw this R32 lowered with custom painted Bentley wheels at the eni station. This GTI was cleanly modified with reverse mounted three piece wheels and air suspension. On day eight, this GTI was featured with loads of custom bodywork and RAD 48 wheels. So how did we do?
