Q: What makes your car special?

A: Nothing really – it’s a normal 1984 box of crap that I just happened to toss some hard-earned cash at.

Q: What is your favorite part/feature/function?

A: The fact that everything I fabricated on the car actually works and still does, knock on wood.

Q: Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?

A: At first it was some friends and their cars. Later, you can thank muscle cars and all the guys putting down fast times in their econoboxes.

A: Would’ve installed a quezanard! (Huh? – ed.)

Q: Who has been your biggest critic of this project?

A: I’m the saltiest critic there is, ask anyone. I have the shirt to prove it – it clearly states “I’m Salty.”

Q: What do your family and friends say about this car?

A: In the words of my uncle, “Holy sh!t!” (worth every penny!), after a ride to 130mph in a few seconds. Mostly I just get lots of funny grins.

Q: What is your favorite place to drive this car?

A: Anywhere you can get the pedal to the floor in fourth brings to me a smile. See below…

Q: What is your ideal day with this car?

A: A little hand cream and oops, ah, see answer above…

Q: Who gets to drive this car?

A: Myself and a few others. It’s not the easiest car to drive.

A: Mottos are for Sprite commercials.

Q: If you had to name your car, what would you name it?

A: The Blue Bandit! And I’d drive around with a cape.

Q: What was your previous project?

A: Keeping my daily driver running.

Q: What is your next project?
