How long have you owned this car?

I have owned this car for about 2 months now. I waited until the Mk6 Sedan hit shores before I had fully decided I needed one.

Is there anything unique about the history of this car?

Not much history here, as its brand new. But I do have a long history with white Jettas.

Why did you choose this car to purchase?

I was waiting anxiously for the MK6 to hit shores, being a mk4 owner and not liking the mk5 Jetta, this was the best option for an upgrade.

What other cars did you consider?

None.

What was your objective with this car?

I wanted to get back into a bagged VW. I knew when I first saw it that it would look great lowered. In addition nice wheels would finish the look.

What tuning style would you describe this car as? (ex. Euro, Bling, OEMplus, street racer, auto crosser)

Stanced.

Who helped you build this car?

Nobody, everything has been done by me. I don’t let others work on my cars.

What makes your car special?

Its one of the first bagged MK6 Jettas in the country.

What is your favorite part/feature/function?

The look it has while aired out.

Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?

My old Mk4 Jetta inspired this car. My mk4 was the one car I never forgot.

What don't you like about this car?

The automatic transmission, and the hate I get on the forums over the drum brakes.. (They work great I swear)

What was your biggest obstacle in building this car?

The suspension, no one had bagged a 2.0, its closer to having a mk4 suspension then a mk5 setup for the front. And there were no kits for the rear.

How did you overcome the issue?

I used an mk4 and mk5 hybrid setup by using two kits to make them work. And modified a existing mk4 setup for the rear.

What would you change if you could?

Nothing yet, the car isn’t done.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this project?

9

What would you do to the car if money were no object?

A lot of custom work, using GTI/GLI parts and some nicer wheels.

Who has been your biggest critic of this project?

Myself.

What do your family and friends say about this car?

Generally they like the outcome.

What is your most memorable/humorous/embarrassing moment with this car?

Nothing yet.

Has this car competed in any events? Results?

Nothing yet, EuroSL,UTfest2011 in a week or so.

What is your favorite place to drive this car?

On the road.

What is your ideal day with this car?

Everyday.

Who gets to drive this car?

Me and the wife.

If your car had a motto, what would it be?

Low and slow.

If you had to name your car, what would you name it?

Oliver.

What was your previous project?

01 Mk4 Jetta

What is your next project?

Unknown.

What one word best describes your car?
