What drew you to this specific car? I wanted a daily driver so I didn’t have to mess up my 94 Corrado. It was $500, bone stock, it was inspected and needed minimal work. What other cars did you consider? Any car that was cheap and was a beater. What was your objective with this car? At first it was to just to beat around in and have a car I didn’t have to worry about parking anywhere. After two months of owning it I deleted the AC, drove it for another week and out came the motor to fresh some things up and I purchased another beater car. What tuning style would you describe this car as? Race car. Who helped you build this car? Damien Milewski aka bloodydismemberment. What makes your car special? It’s like an over-sized roller skate that I can’t flip over (I’ve tried). What is your favorite part/feature/function? The whole package. Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car? At first it was street driven, but in the last three years I would have to say SCCA motorsports influenced the more recent modifications. What don’t you like about this car? Nothing. What was your biggest obstacle in building this car? I would have to say suspension tuning. How did you overcome the issue? Lots of time, wasted money, and research. On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this project? 5, but I would never want a perfect car. What would you do to the car if money were no object? Some more serious suspension upgrades and a LSD. Who has been your biggest critic of this project? Dad. What do your family and friends say about this car? To never sell it, my Dad has the title locked away. What is your most memorable/humorous/embarrassing moment with this car? When I launched the car one day and my ex-GF was in the passenger seat and the rigged seat bracket I had broke and she ended up in the hatch of the car. What is your favorite story about this car? After I broke in the motor and started racing it, I broke the straps on the pressure plate and did it two more times. Has this car competed in any events? Yes What is your favorite place to drive this car? SCCA Solo events. What is your ideal day with this car? Racing at an event. Who gets to drive this car?
