Is there anything unique about the history of this car?
Nothing special, only thing is I drove 13 hours round trip for it.
What drew you to this specific car?
I have always had a love of the Mk4 GLI. The color is beautiful and the Recaro seats make me feel like a baby being held by their mother.
What other cars did you consider?
20th anniversary GTI, 337 GTI, Mk5 GTI
What was your objective with this car?
To make it fast, fun, reliable, but also keep it clean with an OEM+ look
What tuning style would you describe this car as?
OEM+
Who helped you build this car?
Various euro shops around NH for the stuff I could not do myself
What makes your car special?
It is tornado red plus it is a mk4 GLI which you don't see many of that are in decent shape in nh.
What is your favorite part/feature/function?
The Recaro seats and the front valance
Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?
I previously owned a Mk4 2.0 that was beautiful but it lacked something, something to make it special and that's when I knew I needed a GLI.
What do you like about this car?
Everything, especially the brushed aluminum trim and like I said, the Recaro seats
What was your biggest obstacle in building this car?
Having enough money to do what I want to do to it.
How did you overcome the issue?
By working a lot and saving my money.
What would you change if you could?
Nothing, besides adding a few more motor upgrades
On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this project?

What would you do to the car if money were no object?
Bigger turbo and everything that goes with it.
Who has been your biggest critic of this project?
My brother who tells me every time I scrape "you think this is cool"
What do your family and friends say about this car?
They either like it or say it's too low
What is your most memorable/humorous/embarrassing moment with this car?
I ripped off my front bumper in my dirt driveway during the spring melting period costing $800 in repairs
What is your favorite story about this car?
The drive to go get it. It was long, but worth it.
Has this car competed in any events?
This summer I will be at every one I have time for.
What is your favorite place to drive this car?
The ocean in Maine

Driving down the coastline listening to the sound of the exhaust and good music.
Who gets to drive this car?
Anyone I feel fit, so only a select few, but never if I'm not in it. No one can drive it if I'm not the passenger.
