How long have you owned this car?

Seven months so far.

Is there anything unique about the history of this car?

Everybody on the Corrado forum knows it. It also lacks a sunroof and ABS, which makes it pretty rare.

Why did you choose this car to purchase?

I wanted something fresh and unique. Pulling up to the same car at a stoplight got old.

What other cars did you consider?

There were a couple, but when my car was up on the classifieds, I knew I had to have it.

What was your objective with this car?

To keep it clean, sexy and fast as possible.

What tuning style best describes this car (ex. Euro, Bling, OEMplus, street racer, auto crosser)?

I guess euroemplusautocrosser! It does it all, quite well, actually.

Who helped you build this car?

Mostly myself, but my friends Kendall and Sean are the best people to know when you need help.

What makes your car special?

It’s in amazing shape and I thank the previous owners for that.

What is your favorite part/feature/function?

Probably a fight between the HIDs and the rear spoiler. But the coolest feature is the neck breaking device.

Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?

I do what looks right to me, asking peoples’ opinions along the way.

What don't you like about this car?

The rattles that I’ve yet to fix.

What was your biggest obstacle in building this car?

Money, mostly.

How did you overcome the issue?

Scrounge the money up as best I can.

What would you change if you could?

I’d make my tax return come faster so I can get my Lysholm.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this project?

9. Probably be a 10 when the Lysholm gets here.

What would you do to the car if money were no object?

Syncro, that’s about it. Maybe treat her to a paint job.

Who has been your biggest critic of this project?

Myself, mostly.

What do your family and friends say about this car?

It’s the first car my father has liked of mine, and the most part, my friends would trade their cars for it.

What is your most memorable/humorous/embarrassing moment with this car?

It’s got that typical bad ground that I’ve never fixed and it likes to not start. In front of people, all the time.

Has this car competed in any events? Results?

Autocrossed it last year, got a lot of compliments, didn’t place. Hopefully I’ll do better this year.

What is your favorite place to drive this car?

Everywhere. It really makes me feel special.

What is your ideal day with this car?

Sunny, ~70 degrees, windows down, blasting some tunes.

Who gets to drive this car?

Me mostly, and I’ve let a couple of my friends drive it.

If your car had a motto, what would it be?

I have no idea.

If you had to name your car, what would you name it?

No idea.

What was your previous project?

I had a pretty cool MKIV VR6 GTI, and a ‘91 GTI.

What is your next project?

No idea, only time can tell.

What one word best describes your car?

Sweet?

Anything else you’d like to share?
