Eurokracy Montréal presented by Unitronic may only be in its fourth year, but there is already huge growth in both spectator and show car turnout. Located just north of the boarder at Napierville Dragway, Eurokracy features a layout extremely similar to what is available at events like Waterfest and GTI International. Hosting a packed show field and live drag racing, there is always something going on for spectators to take in.
Eurokracy Montrėal also features the “Neckbreaker” competition- a contest to see just how low your car can go. The Neckbreaker rules are simple enough, with all participants needing to complete one lap around the Neckbreaker circuit, with a maximum of five people in the car at any one time and no changes in ride height allowed. As expected, the top places are determined by number of scrapes, ride height and the crowd’s reaction to the car’s lap.
While the Neckbreaker, Drags and Showfield may bring people in, the burnout pit is the true crowd favorite. You see, the Canadians do a burnout pit like no other. They just can’t seem to turn down participation whenever one pops up at an event, especially when its on their home turf. With that in mind, we’ll let the pictures do the talking.
