When a Volkswagen faithful decides to purchase a Corrado, there seems to be two ways of going about it. The first is to just maintain the car, and deal with the issues Volkswagen's true sports car is unfortunately notorious for. Or there's always the approach of trying to beat those problems at the pass and build it to the hilt from the get go.

cstanley19 seems to have gone for the second option. Rather than leave things how they are, he has gone on and teared the entire car apart, putting some new touches on just about everything on the car. Up front now sits a turbocharged VR6, sitting in a freshly shaved bay, and mated to a brand new transmission. That hauls around a beautiful interior, lifted from another Corrado enthusiast's car, but mated to a dash that is stunningly trimmed to match the rest of the interior. On the outside, well, all you have to do is refer to the name of the thread, "Burgundy Build," to know what hue has been sprayed over the bodywork. It looks incredible, and we can't wait to see the final result. Jump on in by clicking the button below and check it out yourself.
