BBS is heading to Essen for the world ‘s leading trade fair from May 27th to 30th.  There, the premium wheel manufacturer from the Black Forest will present its latest innovations. In addition to the new wheel design CH-R II and the XA in the new color Platinum Matte, the CX-R wheel will be shown in a “Special Edition” to the interested public for the first time.  The BBS display can be found in Hall 2.0 2D20 .

The BBS CX-R can be characterized by great design and perfect quality.  Curved, two-dimensionally arranged spokes give the wheel the distinctive appearance . The wheel is made through BBS’ quality low-pressure casting process with subsequent flow-forming, now comes as a “Special Edition” painted in Platinum Matte for selected models from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen on the market. The quality product from BBS will initially be available in three versions: 8.5 x 19 inches 5/120/ET32, 8.5 x 19 inches 5/112/ET35 and 9 x 20 inch 5/112/ET25. Driving experience and driving fun are guaranteed with the new interpretation of the cross-spoke design. Through the so-called undercut technology, the weight of the CX-R is reduced.  Stability and weight-optimization of the wheel was achieved using FEM analysis.

Long, thin spokes and a very small center area give the design CH-R be as timeless as dynamic appearance.  The two-piece design CH-R II combines the language of form with the latest technology from motorsport, as the CH-R II is subjected to flow forming production in the low-pressure casting process.  This high-quality rotary rolling process enables the manufacture of particularly light and strong wheels.  In addition, the CH -R II features behind-milled spokes to achieve maximum weight savings without sacrificing structural stability.  The CH-R II is available in black Matte and Matte Platinum with laser-marking and stainless steel lip protectors.
