- Deutsche Auto Parts Releases Center-Exit Exhaust for Mk7 GTI
- ECS Tuning MK7 Angled Vent Pod & Boost Gauge Kit
Wadsworth, OH. – July 28, 2011 – ECS Tuning is proud to launch the innovative new Billet Aluminum Oil Filter Housing that will replace the failure-prone plastic version on select Volkswagen models.
ECS’s research and development team wanted to produce an oil filter housing that could stand up to even the most intense maintenance schedule, so they turned to aluminum, a metal that is much stronger and far more durable than plastic.
This new kit, designed and tested at ECS Tuning, is the first of its kind for the Volkswagen / Audi 2.0T four-cylinder and early 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engines. ECS engineers installed and tested this improvement on its vehicles in to ensure its performance and fitment.
Previously, owners were stuck with a brittle plastic housing that would crack during tightening or if the wrong tools were used. If it was over tightened, the chances of it coming off undamaged were slim. Through careful design, these issues will be a thing of the past with ECS Tuning’s Billet Aluminum Oil Filter Housing.
This housing will fit on many Volkswagen and some Audi models, and it has been designed with a standard integrated drain plug, allowing you to drain your oil without the need of special tools, unlike the stock oil filter housing.
ECS’ Billet Aluminum Oil Filter Housing will fit the 2.0T or 2.5 in your:
• Volkswagen MKV Golf/Rabbit/Jetta
• Volkswagen Golf R
• Volkswagen EOS
• Volkswagen B6 Passat
• Audi B7 A4
• Audi A3
• Audi MKII TT
