Driver quotes: Randy Pobst: “Being part of Audi and the Champion Racing team has been a wonderful thing. At the beginning of the season we had a brand new car and it needed a lot of work. This Audi RS 6 was a new car for all of us this year and each race the team was able to improve it and always make it better to drive. We made very few mistakes and therefore were able to get on the podium seven times this year. It’s such a pleasure to be part of this team and to win the Manufacturer’s Championship. That’s been a career goal for me since I first started racing and I’m so pleased I was able to do it with Audi.” Michael Galati: “I’m so proud of all the guys at Champion Racing. I had a difficult year at the beginning of the season and then about half way through things started to turn around. I feel really good about winning the Manufacturer’s Championship for Audi and that I was able to once again contribute to it. And I couldn’t be happier for the Champion guys because those are my guys and they deserve it. I can’t say enough good words about Dave Maraj and the guys from Champion Racing.” For more information on Audi’s motorsport program, please visit www.audiusa.com.
