Find of the Day: The Surprisingly Suede ’93 Corrado Share Comments Previous ImageNext ImagePreviousNextView Large I think we can all agree that the Corrado is a handsome car, but everything can be improved. And that’s just what’s happened to this squeaky clean ’93 Corrado. Although this car is anything but unmodded, the overall appearance isn’t all that different from a stock Corrado. The maker instead spent time shaving off every superfluous bit. Like a great comedy or song, this car has been edited down so that only the best remains. But that’s not the full story. From the outside, this Corrado is as unornamented as Clint Eastwood’s face, but inside there’s a surprise. Like finding out that Eastwood writes the scores for many of his movies (true story) when you step inside of this Corrado, you find an elegant surprise. According to the seller, the previous owner ran an upholstery shop, so this car is not only redone in suede, but redone well. With diamond-pattern stitching on the seats and doors cars—very in vogue nowadays—this Corrado is the lap of luxury. That said, it’s still a 20-year-old car, so it unfortunately has nearly 150,000 miles on the clock and the windshield is cracked. According to the owner there are a few other small niggles, but ultimately, it’s a fine automobile, for which the owner is asking $6,000. Check it out on the forum.
