Find of the Day: 1975 Scirocco

Originally penned by Italian design legend Giorgetto Giugiaro, first generation Sciroccos have a figure which is still lusted after 40 years after it debuted.  The later models still look good, but they just lack something that the original design was able to achieve.  Today’s Find of the Day comes to us directly from our own classified section in the form of a 1975 Scirocco finished in Nepal Orange.

While we aren’t quite sure to make of the checkered design surrounding the door cards and floor mats, we can guarantee that it will be a conversation starter to say the least.  Once past the checkered design, the car appears to be in good shape with reupholstered seats and a 5 year old respray which appears to be in good shape.  The motor has been freshened with various performance upgrades, and the suspension has been upgraded with FK Coilovers, new control arms, axles and ball joints.  Although they are not included in most pictures in the ad, the car will be sold with Schmidt TH lines installed.  Take a look at the listing below, and see more information and pictures, right here.

Wanting to move onto a different project. The car has been appraised at $11,000 before adding the TH-lines. I don’t expect to get that but will take offers.
