Find of the Day: Black Forest Industries’ Jetta TDI Share Comments Thread (19) Today’s Find of the Day is a bit of a rarity, but not in the traditional sense. No, this Jetta is not a rare color nor is it a rare combination of options. This Jetta is the former project car of Black Forest Industries, a prominent shop in the Aftermarket scene based out of Cary, North Carolina. What makes the car a rarity, is that it’s transformation from stock TDI to showpiece was documented on their website as an example of their craftsmanship so not only is this of the ‘buy it built’ variety, but you know it has been done right. An additional perk to this Find of the Day are all of the one-off custom touches performed by Black Forest to make their car stand out at the premier shows across the country. These custom touches include textured wood vinyl interior inlays with and embossed Black Forest logo, custom dual exhaust, custom engine cover, Prototype heavyweight anodized gold shift knob, custom gauge panel with Boost, Voltage and Clock readings, and more. While the car unfortunately does not come with the BBS E88 Motorsport wheels, it will come on Avant Garde wheels which have been painted gold and frankly look quite good. The car has traveled just 14k miles, and can be yours for $23,000, which when all is considered is a very good deal. More information on the car, and documentation of the entire build can be found right here on the Black Forest Industries website.
