In April of this year, Volkswagen Individual built a prototype Golf designed to celebrate 50 years of Rock and Roll. After numerous customer inquiries, VW Indiviual decided to produce the Golf as a limited special series: The Golf Individual featuring “50 years of Rock”.
This Golf is, particularly upon a second view, a very special car. The 17″ light metal wheels with titanium screw connections underline the sporty appearance. After opening the door, the aluminum entrance borders call attention to the eye, and offer a much more “Individual” appearance.
Inside the special series Golf are sport seats covered in two-colored Nappa leather – Anthracite Coal and Grenadine. Door linings, multi-function steering wheel and the floor mats are all adapted to this color code.
The Climatronic is separately adjustable for driver and front seat passenger, a radio CD head unit with ten loudspeakers supplies the desired sound, and back and rear side windows are tinted. Calls are received over the in-car telephone unit with hands-free mechanism.
The Golf Individual “50 years of Rock” edition will consist of a mere 250 vehicle, total, so prospective customers had better hurry. Engine choices range from the 1.6l 115-hp FSI, the 1.9l 105-hp TDI, and the powerful 2.0l 140-hp TDI with DSG transmission.
Each car will come with an individually arranged limited edition certificate, and prices start from 26.700 euro.
