His Excellency Jorge Castro-Valle Kühne, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Germany, made his first visit to Volkswagen in Wolfsburg today.
He was welcomed to Wolfsburg by Dr. Jens Neumann, member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, and Reinhard Jung, President of Volkswagen de Mexico. The welcome was followed by an exchange of information on the economic situation in Mexico also attended by Volker Steinwascher, Deputy Chairman of the North America Region, and Dr. Bernd Löhning, Head of the Volkswagen AG Berlin Office.
Following a tour of the factory, during which he visited the new Golf press and body shops and final assembly line, the Mexican Ambassador and Dr. Neumann subsequently met Mexican employees at the Wolfsburg plant.
The high-ranking guest then had the opportunity to experience the exciting world of mobility during an extended visit to the Autostadt.
