VWvortex received these shots of the new Jetta GLI as seen on the streets of Tampa, FL – most likely completing EPA testing before going on sale later this year.
Though VWoA has already shown the GLI in final production trim (the car seen here is lacking the black side skirts we know will be offered and the lower front bumper grilles with chrome strips are definitely non-GLI spec), these are the first pictures we’ve seen that show the GLI wearing the 17-inch BBS mesh wheels that will come standard (18″ 5-spoke wheels will be optional).
Not exactly earth-shattering news, we agree, but we figured our readers would enjoy perhaps their first look at the new GLI with standard wheels.
