The Sharan, the popular van by Volkswagen, will be presented at Frankfurt in a higher-quality outfit. The design of the bonnet and the graphic of the rear lights have been revised. The side skirts are now slightly wider and the turn signals are integrated in the door mirrors.
The Sharan also has as standard a chrome-plated radiator grille which gives the successful MPV a more refined look. A further highlight is the new chrome package which is standard with the Comfortline trim and higher. It includes special applications on the bumpers and bump strips.
Eight new exterior colours, three new aluminium wheels and new fabrics for the Sharan, Sharan Comfortline and Trendline give the model a fresh, new look.
As of the autumn, the fold-away tables on the front seat backs will include a cupholder and there will be practical storage nets on the backrests of the second-row seats.
The optional rear seat entertainment system is no longer combined with a video recorder rather with a DVD player.
The different trim lines as well as the extensive engine range with three petrol and three diesel engines remain unchanged
