Hannover, 06.11.2014 - A particularly well-equipped variant of the successful Amarok pickup goes into production this current model year. The new Amarok Ultimate features modified front optics with new bi-xenon headlights and other chrome finishes as primary distinguishing features.
Based on the already well-equipped Amarok Highline, the Amarok Ultimate shines as the new flagship model of the Amarok series with many interesting features.
Particularly striking is the Bi-xenon headlamps with integrated LED light strip details. They give the Amarok not only improved illumination, but also give the Amarok Ultimate a heavily modified optical appearance together with the two double chrome strips on the grille. These new lights are now available to order for all other Amarok models. The Amarok is the first pickup in its class with available bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights available worldwide.
Other optical features of the “ultimate” Amarok are silver mirror housings, darkened tail lights with LED license plate light, polished 19-inch “Aragonite” alloy wheels with 255/55er tires, a special logo, silver designer underbody protection and styling bar and lateral Side bars in chrome.
In addition, the Amarok Ultimate comes standard with the “Park Pilot”, including “Rear Assist” rear-view camera, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, Alarm, Heated front seats, and the “RNS 315″ navigation system including mobile phone preparation. The interior has anthracite-titan black Alcantara seat covers and special velor floor mats. Candy White, Natural Grey, Reflex Silver, Starlight Blue, Toffee Brown and Deep Black are available as exterior colors.
Powertrain options are TDI engines with 103 or 132 kW in combination with rear-or all-wheel drive, manual or automatic, with the exception of variants with BlueMotion Technology.
The price for Amarok Ultimate starts at 34.770 euros (net) or 41376.30 EUR (incl. VAT).
Also new to the model range is now the Amarok SingleCab with 8-speed automatic transmission with permanent four-wheel drive and the 132 kW TDI engine (from 31267.25 € gross) as well as the equally powerful automatic versions of the rear wheel drive versions of the Amarok (Single and DoubleCab).
