Volkswagen just finished up their Group Night at the Paris Auto Show 2012 and rolled out a preview of some of the things we'll see at the Auto Show over the next couple days.

Of interest, this was the first time Ducati was featured in the Volkswagen Group Night activities as part of the overall Volkswagen Group. Ducati's CEO Gabriele Del Torchio rolled on to the stage with Ducati's new updated Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak. Porsche brought along a hybrid concept that was based on the Panamera platform but with a short rear overhang and a hatch. This concept was quickly whisked away after its appearance on stage and wasn't brought back out at the end of the night for further photos. We'll get more information tomorrow after Porsche's official press conference. Lamborghini is differentiating the AWD and RWD versions of the Gallardo with some mild cosmetic changes. Bentley showed off a new GT3 race car concept that looks stunning while Bugatti showed yet another version of the Veyron called the Vitesse. Skoda had their new Polo-based Fabia sedan on display. Seat unveiled their new Leon based on the MQB platform and Audi showed off the A3 Sportback. Finally VW Commercial vehicles showed the very cool Cross Caddy.
