A leaked slide from a product presentation shows that Volkswagen is planning to launch eight electrified vehicles in China. There will be two each based on the MQB platform, Audi’s MLB platform, the all electric MEB platform, and two more released as a joint venture with one of VW’s Chinese partners, JAC.

The automaker, according to the slide, is planning on releasing the e-Golf and the Tiguan PHEV. They will be joined by the Phideon PHEV, the China-only full size, luxury sedan. And finally, the I.D., based on Volkswagen’s all-electric MEB platform.

Finally, there will be a compact SUV and a small sedan from JAC-Volkswagen, a joint  venture whose intent is to make affordable electric cars. The joint venture's name is expected to be revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, with the brand selling its first vehicles in 2018.
