B&B Offers Wheel-Sets in up to 22″ for VW Touareg Share Comments The German tuner B&B offers in his wheel program an exclusive cross-spokes drop-center rim with a high-grade steel rim base in 10″ x 22 and tyres in 295/30-22 (Dunlop). Due to the high-grade steel rim base the cleaning happens much quicker than with aluminium rims, as i.e. braking dust cannot deposit as easiely. Furthermore high-grade steel is more robust and therefore stands contacts with e.g. guide rails of car washes without lasting damages. The “B3” wheel sets are available for all VW Touareg models in 10″x22 with tyres in either 285/30-22 or 295/30-22 for 5.998 Euro (incl. VAT). As these wheels run faster with more power, B&B provides also a two-level program for the VW Touareg that makes the V10 5.0 TDI on the second level run sporty 294 kW / 400 hp / 920nm. At the first performance kit the increase in performance up to 265 kW / 360 hp / 850 nm is achieved by a slight increase in boost pressure (+0,20bar) and an adaption of the injection code fields. At the same time the series-line torque control is modified and the Vmax limit is lifted. The price for this first level is EUR 1.498 and includes TÜV reports and warranties up to two years without any limit of kilometers. For those who can´t get enough, a performance kit up to 169 kW / 230 hp / 490 nm is available as a second level. Here the increase takes place with a special B&B turbo charger with a modified exhaust fume bend as well as an optimization of the induction area and the air conduction. The electronic code fields are again adapted to these changes. The price for the second level is EUR 7.998 and includes the assembly, TÜV reports and warranties up to two years without any limit of kilometers.
