Alright, we'll level with you.  We hit quite a few events throughout the year, and don't always have time to give each car, venue or event the love it deserves.  We've at times even been known to rediscover features from old backup hard drives.  It's simply an unfortunate side-effect of the cadence at which the industry moves.

Case in point is this Mk6 Golf TDI, first shown by suspension specialists H&R at SEMA in 2009.  Using their strong ties within the industry to even have the car to show, H&R then applied their tried and true approach to tuning the car, applying tasteful vinyl stripes, massive 20" OZ Superleggera HLT wheels, Volkswagen Accessories pedal covers, and their own Ultra Performance Coilovers and Sway Bars.  The result was a Volkswagen which turned heads in a sea of then-new Chevrolet Camaros.  And we had a full photoset of the build ready to go this entire time.

In all, the car's presence at SEMA was successful enough that H&R was able to re-use their connections to get several more VAG vehicles in their SEMA booth before they arrived in dealers, including a Mk7 Golf and Audi RS 7 in 2013, and the Golf SportWagen and Audi S3 this past year.
