Reigning IMSA TCR class champion Britt Casey Jr. will share the No. 17 Unitronic JDC-Miller Motorsports Audi RS 3 LMS with South African born Mikey Taylor for a partial season effort.

The pair will contest their first event together at the famed  Sebring International Raceway  during the SuperSebring weekend March 13 – 16. In addition to the Alan Jay Automotive Network 120, the second TCR entry is scheduled for the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120, Road America 120, and season-ending Fox Factory 120 at Road Atlanta.

Casey Jr., who had a blow out season last year in the Michelin Pilot Challenge (then the Continental Sportscar Challenge) earning 4 wins, 3 poles, and 8 podium finishes in the ten race season said, "After earning the first  IMSA  TCR Championship last season, I am extremely proud to be back in an Audi with a team that has such a broad range of knowledge across several forms of IMSA competition. JDC-Miller Motorsports knows how to run the Audi RS 3 LMS effectively and their results have shown. With a new tire provider for this year in Michelin, I'm eager to see how the on-track product has evolved and how my knowledge from last season will transfer over. Mikey is fast, diligent, and committed to success which makes this program that much more exciting!”

Taylor who most recently competed as the third driver in the team’s No. 54 Universal Coating Audi RS3 LMS at Daytona International Speedway said, “After seeing the success of the program JDC-Miller runs, myself and my good friends at Unitronic couldn’t help but want to do more races in addition to the Daytona and Watkins Glen effort I have in the No. 54 with Mike and Stephen.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to co-drive with a fast, professional like Britt. As a past champion he’ll bring a ton of experience to our program to help with the learning curve. Even though this year is just a four race effort, we’ll race every event to win with the plan of doing a full season in 2020.”

Both drivers have a strong affiliation with the Audi brand and will be looking to put the No. 17 Unitronic Audi RS 3 LMS on the top step of the podium. Tristan Herbert of Audi Sport customer racing stated, “We are thrilled to see these two gentlemen carry the Audi flag in TCR. Having Britt Casey back behind the wheel of the Audi RS 3 LMS following his Championship season in 2018 will perfectly compliment longtime Audi Sport Performance Drive Lead Instructor, Mikey Taylor. The Audi Sport customer racing organization is looking forward to continued success in the  IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.

Unitronic, a worldwide leader in aftermarket performance enhancing software and hardware company, will be the Title Partner of the No. 17 Audi RS3 LMS TCR entry. To further solidify their presence and highlight their expertise with V.A.G. platforms, Unitronic is proud to be involved and looks to grow their already impressive network of Clients and Authorized Dealers globally. Unitronic’s Technical Director, John Staffi said, “A passion for motorsports runs deep here at Unitronic and we’re excited to add our Audi RS3 LMS TCR, allowing our Clients and Dealers worldwide to share in our passion. We’re proud to be partnered with such a great team in JDC-Miller Motorsports and the driver duo of Britt Casey Jr. and Mikey Taylor makes for an unstoppable combo.”
