Audi Sport Celebrates Self, Introduces RS6 Avant RS Tribute Edition

It’s been 25 years since the first RS car was unleashed upon the world’s road and Audi Sport felt that was worth celebrating. We frankly couldn’t agree more, so we’re pleased to see the RS6 Avant RS Tribute Edition.

Finished in a fetching Nogaro Blue, its paint has been selected to remind you of the OG, the RS2. Unlike the RS2, though it rides on massive 22-inch wheels. It also gets red brake calipers and black design accents (grills, side blades, roof rails), although the mirror caps are painted blue to match the body.

Also matching the body is the denim blue stitching that helps keep the leather seats from falling apart. You also get the beefier Sport exhaust as standard on the RS Tribute Edition. That should help the 590 hp, 590 lb-ft, twin-turbo V8 really sing.

Unfortunately, Audi has decided to make this a limited edition tribute edition, and since they’re celebrating the RS brand’s 25th anniversary, they’ll only make 25 of these. And thanks to all its standard equipment (sport exhaust, executive package, better sound, etc) it costs nearly $28,000 more than the base model, ringing in a $136,800.
