Gallery: Audi Updates the RS4 Avant

To keep in step with the rest of the A4 lineup—and indeed the rest of the lineup—Audi has given the RS4 Avant a facelift.

The changes are largely cosmetic, with power and transmission staying at 444 hp and 8 speeds, respectively. That’s thanks to its familiar, Porsche-developed 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6.

Theoretically, though, feeding the engine is a new nostril above the grille that has become de rigueur on AudiSport models. The A4’s new headlights and its more accentuated belt line have been added to better show off its muscles.

There’s been a change inside the cabin, too, with Audi’s updated MMI infotainment system replacing its old one. That means you get a 10.1-inch screen, a new touch-sensitive pad between the seats, and new RS-specific features on the virtual cockpit.
