The e-tron GT will be Audi’s first electric RS model, according to a report from the UK’s Autocar.

The outlet spoke to Julius Seebach, who will lead the brand, at the recent LA Auto Show, where he revealed that Audi would offer the e-tron GT in standard, S, and RS trims.

The e-tron GT concept featured had two motors and made 582 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Its sister car, the Taycan, is offered with up to 670 hp.

Autocar also reports that plug-in hybrid versions of Audi Sport’s RS models are also on their way. Rumors, meanwhile, suggest that the RS4 will lead the PHEV RS front.

The branding may not be limited to passenger cars. The e-tron Sportback SUV may also get RS badging according to Andreas Mindt, Audi’s exterior design boss. This would compete with the Tesla Model Y Performance.

“It’s very similar to what you see with the RS Q8,” Mindt told Autocar. “You have to start with the standard car and build it up.”
