Audi Resorts to Black Magic in Effort to Bring Avant to the US Share Comments The US has long been devoid of Audi wagons for a long time now, but things might be changing soon. Audi’s latest social media campaign further suggests that Audi plans to bring the A6 and RS6 Avants to the US. The tweet was posted yesterday evening and shows candle emojis surrounding “Avants in the U.S.”Audi’s Twitter page then captioned the image with “Summoning circle. Hope this works.” summoning circle, hope this works 🕯 🕯 🕯 🕯 🕯 🕯 Avants in the U.S. 🕯 🕯 🕯 🕯 🕯 🕯 — Audi (@Audi) March 8, 2019 The tweet, on its own, is hardly confirmation but follows reports in early February saying that the A6 and RS6 Avant were state-bound. According to the report, the cars were meant to arrive in the US before 2020. The A6 Avant debuted in Europe last year and is offered with the same 2.0-liter diesel, 3.0-liter diesel, and 3.0-liter V6 engines as their standard A6. If it does indeed arrive in North America, expect the A6’s 3.0-liter mild hybrid V6 to be the only available engine. The RS6, meanwhile, will likely be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 sending its power to an eight-speed automatic transmission. So let’s join Audi in the church of night and make this summoning circle work.
