Find of the Day: 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon Doka Share Comments With the perfect combination of cool and rare, the Vanagon Doka is a highly sought-after vehicle for Volkswagen and car enthusiasts alike. Add in some California-cool patina, a lowered ride height and some sharp looking aftermarket wheels, and your really cooking with gas. That’s why this 1982 Vanagon Doka is our Find of the Day. Although it currently resides in Washington, this Doka has spent the majority of its life in California, making it a highly patina’d yet relatively rust-free example. The all-original paint has been buffed and polished to look its best, and aside from the rust above the front bumper, the car looks to be quite clean. To ensure reliability, a 1.9 liter TDI with roughly 60,000 miles with a new clutch, slave cylinder, exhaust and fuel lines have been fitted. On the inside, occupants will find reupholstered front seats and OEM panels which look to be in very good condition. This 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon Doka is currently for sale on eBay Motors at a current bid of $12,000 with six days remaining in the auction.
