Find of the Day: Volkswagen Golf Limited Share Comments Connoisseurs of rare vehicles, take note. What we have here is a Mk2 Golf Limited, one of just 71 ever produced and it’s currently available in Austria. I personally can’t think of a better car to feature as our Find of the Day. Powered by a G60 supercharged 16 valve routed to all four wheels via synchro all wheel drive, the Golf Limited was the highest output Volkswagen production vehicle for quite some time. It wasn’t all just about performance, though. The five door (Volkswagen used the five door as it was a more rigid chassis) featured a full leather interior with power windows, heated front seats and a sunroof among other luxuries. Now as you might imagine, this rarity does come at a cost. The car is currently available on AutoScout24.de for €39,060, or about $45,000. On the bright side, it’s eligible for importation in June, meaning that it’ll hit our shores just in time for show season. Additional information and images can be found right here. Thanks to Jason for the tip!
