Latest Gran Turismo Concept is the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo

Elon Musk might be claiming that the Tesla truck is the official pickup of Mars, but this latest Lamborghini is even more out of this world. It’s the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo, and yes, Lamborghini appears to have just La Ferrari-ed itself.

The V12 Vision GT is part of an increasingly amazing stable of concepts designed for the Gran Turismo video game series. The V12 Vision GT was unveiled for the 2019 FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships taking place in Monte Carlo, the official video game racing series championship.

“Lamborghini is a very young brand, and this is why we are here today to present our newest virtual vision in the form of a real model, with a highly futuristic and cool design to be enjoyed by the young generation of racing game and super sports car enthusiasts,” said CEO Stefano Domenicali.

The Lambo Lambo is a single-seater that was designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile in Sant’Agata Bolognese. In-game, this rocketship will use the 785 CV supercapacitor-equipped V12 powertrain from the Sian FKP 37.

Lamborghini says that this car builds on the company’s design language, but shows the potential for the company’s shapes in a futuristic way. The design is dedicated to sophisticated aerodynamics, it says, with every element a “high performance” surface. Inside, the cockpit is like a jet fighter, similarly, the driver climbs into the cabin from the front, through the bubble canopy.

Sure it’s a concept for a game, but this is Lamborghini. Which means that there are more than likely a handful of billionaires whose staffers are currently bearing bonds on private jets to get them a real one built ASAP. Meanwhile, you’ll be able to drive one on your Playstation shortly.
