One Last Tease Before the Reveal Share Comments Audi will reveal the latest A7 today, but before it can do that it needs to get us all hot and/or bothered. Today, the brand gave us one last teaser, this time of the car from the top. Immediately, you can see new Audi lines, with creases in the hood, similar to the A5’s. The fenders, too, look excitingly wide and a brake light over the rear window promises an intriguing tail. Thanks to previous teasers and leaks, we know that this A7 will still be dominated by the “Sportback” line—so don’t expect a huge departure from the current car. We still expect a familiar range of engines ranging from the single-turbo 3.0-liter V6, to the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6, to the equally bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8, and rumors suggest that the Porsche Panamera’s hybrid system might be stuffed into the RS7, giving it up to 700 hp. Shots of the interior suggest that some of the A8’s high tech gadgets will find their way into the A7, though this car has more of a focus on performance than luxury, so don’t expect quite as much rear-seat gizmos. All will be revealed in just a few hours. You can watch the livestream of the event here, starting at 1:00 pm. Check the video below for a countdown.
