2017 Golf Family a Car and Driver 10 Best for 11th Straight Year

For the 11th year in a row, the five member strong Golf family has been named one of Car and Driver’s “10Best.” The Golf was in competition with more than 60 cars and made the list thanks to its value and quality.

The Golf family is a “sweeping armada of excellence,” writes Car and Driver. “Attitudes range from the save-some-fuel base Golf to the kill-some-apexes Golf R […] All Golfs drive with a solid composure and predictability, with controlled body motions and the ride quality of a far more expensive machine.”

To be entered into the competition, cars must cost no more than 2.5 times the national average price and must be on sale by January.

“We are honored that Car and Driver has named the Volkswagen Golf models to its 2017 ‘10Best’ list,” said Hinrich Woebcken, President and CEO, Volkswagen Group of America. “Earning this award for the eleventh consecutive year validates the consistency of the Golf family in delivering unmatched quality and performance.”
