Volkswagen Donates Beetle For Charity Raffle at MotorCar Festival

Volkswagen has given away a Beetle. VW of America donated a Final Edition Beetle at the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival to benefit a local center for treatment of neurological issues.

The 2019 Beetle Convertible Final Edition SEL was donated to the Erlanger Neuroscience Institute. The institute is the only such facility in the region, and was the beneficiary of the MotorCar Festival this year, which was held last weekend.

The car was raffled off during the event. The center, VW says, “treat(s) adult and pediatric patients with a variety of disorders, and use the latest advancements in imaging technology to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.”

“We are so pleased to have further helped raise money for such a meaningful care facility,” said Scott Keogh, CEO, Volkswagen Group of America. “Volkswagen is continuing to seek out ‘Drive Bigger’ opportunities and working with the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival and the Erlanger Neuroscience Institute is absolutely one of those moments.”
