Watch: VW Launches New Atlas Ad Campaign Called “America”

Volkswagen of America has launched a new ad campaign for the new Atlas, called “America.”

With a 90 second ad, and several shorter ones, the campaign features the Atlas against huge vistas, carrying a family, traveling the land.

“Our first seven-passenger SUV was built with American families in mind,” said Vinay Shahani, Senior VP of Marketing, Volkswagen of America. “The ’America’ campaign tells the story of Atlas through the lens of an American family traveling across this beautiful country.”

Clearly unafraid of being a bit on the nose, Volkswagen has picked Paul Simon’s “America” to score the ad, with some featuring a cover by First Aid Kits.

Premiering today, the ads will be featured on TV, in cinemas, and online.
