I need to get a set of new plugs for my car. Currently I'm running NGK BCP7EV on my car. These were recommended by parts4vws.com.
I was just wondering if anyone have used the same plugs as I did? I also have a few guys recommending me use the Bosch F6DTC and FR5DTC. Any recommendations for other plugs on a turbo vr6?
Should I use a hotter plug in the winter? Because I would be driving my car in the winter and it gets quite cold here.

BKR7E's (in ~325bhp 1.8T) gapped at .028" seems to be the best.
Tip: If you can't find BKR7E's at a local parts store, try a local performance ATV, Cycle, etc. shop... these plugs are common in some racing 2 strokes. If you can't find them locally, or have them ordered cheaply (don't pay more than $3.25 a piece), then try sparkplugs.com .

NGK BKR7E gapped to .028" I just gapped them and it's making alot more top end.
Previously I had some denso Ik20s but I blew those to bits with detonation. Then I ran some BKR5E's and had even worse crap happening in the combustion chamber. Keep um cold!

I just bought a set of Bosch F6DTC today. Do you guys leave the gap as it is? I don't see how can I measure or regap it. It says 0.8mm on the box.

Use a tool like this one :

They're like $2 from auto parts places ...
I have one that's like a screw driver that gets thicker with a scale stamped on it.

But the F6DTC is a 3 prong style spark plugs... so what should the gap be for my turbo vr?
I have the gapping tool which is like a big coin, but I don't see how it can be accurate with the 3prong style plugs.

I run Champion coppers in my nitrous motor. For 99cents ea. they work great and are 1 heat range colder. I dont mind replacing them if I foul one since they are cheap. I'll be running the same plugs in my turbo motor.

AS far as I know you can't gap dual electrode plugs.
I am running BOSCH FR5DTC plugs gapped to .028 (per Bentley) for NA mode and when I spray I use the FR6DTC plugs (one stage colder) gapped to .025. These pulgs are cheap as hell from Autozone .99 each so I swap them often. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
