Well it would work here in Canada. km/h anyway not sure on how to find the km. but so you know a used cluster once it has gone over 100km can not be changed, neither up or down, and installing a used cluster i am not even sure has been done.

Re: (Sawdust)

thanks for your help
but i've read that you can get a cluster that is +/- 1000km of what your car has done and swap it in.
do any of you know if i can check the mileage of a cluster simply but plugging it into my car and giving it power?

Re: (Lams)

mileage doesn't matter on a cluster you install. if you want to change the mileage of a cluster, you can use a Vag-Com or similar scan tool. you can only advance mileage on a cluster, not set miles back. Depending on the year of the car you would need to sync the new cluster to the ECU and the keys themselves with a Vac-Com of similar VW scan tool.
oh ...you can see the amount af mileage on the odemeter by just plugging the cluster in.
