problem is...the auction ends dec. 8 .... and my dad will be in town dec. 12...cant get it until then...any ideas?

Looks good, but are you sure your insurance won't kill you? Those things are expensive to insure (I've been looking myself). I also think you can find a 2000 model for about the same price or lower (look around at autotrader.com).

what kind of ins quotes have you gotten? did you look at 1.8t or v6? i guess it doesnt matter unless your a 26 yo male with 1 violation

Plus get a 1.8T, supposedly they are just as fast, get better fuel economy and are much more upgradeable (chip, turbo...). However, for ultimate power look for a 2001 model (170hp) vs. pre-2001 (150hp).

A deposit of $500 is required within 3 days of auction end. Balance is due within 7 days....
so you're good. check the terms at the bottom of the auction

It was murder! I got a $2,200 quote for 6 months from progressive. 22 y.o. with 1 "improper turn" violation. I looked at the 1.8T Quattro. So, my dream of owning an audi is slowly fading away. I guess the lil' old 2.0 will be with me for quite a while more.
