Mine is getting weak and its the cheap WalMart brand the PO put in. I've heard putting in a good battery can make a big difference. Also, should I replace all the lead lines to the battery as well?

VERY nice batteries but not a direct bolt in and pricey. You can get them to fit but it takes a little work.
Interstate will drop right in.

If your charging system is good then I vote for Interstate as well. I have both batteries (Interstate + Optima) and other than the "looks" factor I couldn't say one was better than the other. Your choice but I'd go with price.

Interstate Batteries and Optima are both made by Johnson Controls (along with alot of other batteries). I am an Apps Engineer for Johnson Controls, and Id have to say that Interstate and Optima are BOTH very good. But personally I like the Optimas. The Optimas batteries are sealed, so they can be mounted anyway and bumped around with no problem (great for trunk mount). They also can be stored for longer periods of time. So to me Optima is a great choice.

Take your wal-mart battery back to the store and have them check the code on it. It may still be under part of the *Pro-rated* warranty period. I did this last time with a battery in a friend's car and it cost $12 to get a brand new replacement. No hassle at all.
