It's been a while since I asked this... Does anyone know a method to reboot an RCD-510? Mine lasts about 30-45 days and then it decides to hang for about 3-5 minutes, then resets for another month + ... I'd like to reboot the dude when I want to, not while I'm talking with the lottery and verifying my hundred million win............ oops!

- I'm still in original warranty so I guess I could get it replaced, but I figure that I'm overworking it with too many contacts and too much media streaming...

Any help on a set of keys to press to do an actual reboot would be appreciated....

TIA...

When you do this does the radio actually reboot?

On mine every once in a while it stops playing Bluetooth (even though saying that it's still connected). Then when I go into the dashboard menu to "disconnect" the Bluetooth the menu becomes unresponsive...

Turning the radio off and on again with the power button doesn't help it.
Would be awesome to be able to reset it!

I bought a bricked rcd510 to swap w the rns510 in the tdi which is bein bought back next week. That being said, (and having the radio code) , for giggles,

I pressed the 2 left most buttons (ff & rewind?) + the next button to the right. Or, in other words, I pressed the left 3 buttons. Whether it asked 4 the code or reboot first, I forget,
but every thing worked (except for sound/volumn). Next time I started car nada. I've dis connected the battery so I retry next start.

I think the p.o. tried to flash the firmware + sumthing went asunder.

I just disconnected the battery, reconnected it. Turned account on. Trying various combos of
Power button
Setup button
Ff+Rev & eject

I heard the unit make noise but never display any screen so I have no idea what I did to revive a bricked unit previously. : (
