Dare I ask how much they weigh?
I was at my friends shop who sells wheels. He had a 3 piece 22 taken apart because they're going to black chrome the center. You would not believe how light the rim itself is without the face. It probably only weighed 2 pounds. But the center piece weighs like 20 lbs. Makes you wonder how the rims stand up to even road turtles at speed

Yeah---that same friend of mine that sells wheels had a bagged Chevy truck at SEMA with a Caddy front end. It was parked outside

Re: Got 30's??? (Meaney)

wow

i think that looks pretty damn good. The Caddy front goes real well with the equally boxy rest of the vehicle. The wheels are gigantic but it fills the wheel wells up nicely and looks perfect.
I give this thing http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

[rant]
wait a second, HOLD UP
Now, I'm assuming that these 2 pictures are of the same car.... after all, why would someone go through the trouble of making 2 Identical Black H2/Escalade cars to bring to SEMA? might as well make some differences between them.
Now take a look at the wheels. The right side has 5 spoke wheels, while the left side HAS DIFFERENT WHEELS! 6 spoke chromies.
Now, why I ask, would someone either A) Bring 2 Identical Black H2/Escalades to SEMA with NO differences besides the wheels (even the chrome mirrors, drop height, and Chrome sidebars are the same) OR, B) Have a Car with One set of wheels on one side, WITH A DIFFERENT SET ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!

if this whole 2 types of wheels thing is some sort of show thing that is very common, please let me know, as I'm not big on car shows.

Re: (Black_G60)

Well, there goes my rant, but thanks for clearin that up. Still a http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif on the car tho...

and yes....show cars with different sets of wheels on each side is fairly common.

Re: (joecooool)

I would even go so for as to say that on the driver's side...both wheels are different.
I dont dig the super huge SUV scene. Some of them look classy, but it pisses me off when I only see a solitary lady in every damn one on the road.

Its not super common, but it is a show-car thing.
I kinda like the Caddy front end on the H2. Never knew it was possible. But 30" wheels...
