I wouldn't say 3.2 seconds 0-60 is slow, definitely the right numbers. You have an Exige S350 that weighs 2480 pounds getting 3.5-3.7 depending on the source. Given that the 3.2 is a manufacturer number, real world tests may prove different, just as with the Exige, there could be a .2 margin. Either way, it's not slow for what it is.

It’s not a drag car- it’s a focused road course car. It’s almost certainly traction limited off the line and aero drag is limiting top speed. I’m sure it will blow the doors of just about any street car in its intended environment.

Saw one in person at the Nurburgring last October- certainly looks the business. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see it run.

wow. I REALLY like this.
I do wish it had a more inspiring motor. An uncorked LFX/LGX could probably make similar power with a much nicer sound and very similar weight

Quick review with one of my favorites. The 2.3 sounds better than expected, still wish it had a small V6 or something more sonorous.

I love many of the concepts behind it: small, lightweight, simple. I wonder why manufacturers all seem to have given up on NA engine options though. Surely this would be just as much fun with a 200hp NA engine option as the 400hp turbo motor. No one needs to go that quick on the road anyway.

The days of most V6s are dead. Plus, that would have gone against this car's ethos of light weight. And, honestly, it's a developed engine with tons of support, as it powers many different cars in Ford's range (from the Focus RS, to the Mustang, to the new Bronco) that should keep them in a powerplant for a while.
