The dieselgeek one is choice, however there is a pan protector that came stock on the 2.0. I know it fits the 1.8t and obviously the 2.0, I am unsure about the VR6 & the Tdi. I am going to be looking into this once I get enough scratch to get some coils

i dont need one right away either... gotta get the wheels/suspension before it becomes an issue... but i almost lost an oil pan on my 2.0 that was bonestock... so there is NO WAY in HELL id consider going without one on my tdi thats getting dropped....

Re: (leo819)

I think im going with the deiselgeek plate. Cheaper than the group buy for the aluminum and I trust the dieselgeek one more. Its actually stamped out of a die. The aluminum one looks like something I could have made for less than $100 at a shop down the street from me. I don't trust that one.

Re: (dragon813gt)

well how much do you lose with the aluminum one? Who cares if your scraping a little more. Its on the skidplate, thats its purpose. Just as long as its not on the oil pan or scraping while driving down a perfect road.

Just remeber that you lose an additional 1" of ground clearence w/ the diesel geek skid plate. You won't be able to drop your car as much w/ it on. You'll be prone to more scraping w/ it on because of this(depending on how low you go).

I'm gonna be sparkin' everywhere
