Could anyone tell me what the 2 leads are for? Mine has a white cap connection and a green cap connection. I have installed a different factory radio. My shark fin has been broken before I purchased the car, am looking to replace. Thanks for help 2009 Jetta Sportswagen

Do you mean at the radio ? The white FAKRA connector is AM/FM radio, the green FAKRA connector is satellite radio. The AM/FM antenna are attached to the rear side windows. The roof aerial (shark fin) contains the satellite radio antenna, VAG PN 3C0035507R. --g

The roof antenna ( sharkfin ). Mine is damaged and trying to repair. It has white lead and a green lead. I do not have sat radio can i just leave that one disconnected?

VW changed the antenna configuration for the Golf wagon starting in MY2010; yours is still similar to the MK5 Golf configuration shown here (item 14):

In this case, the base contains the satellite antenna (green connector) and the whip antenna is for terrestrial radio (AM/FM - white connector), PN 1K0035501C. But if you're not using the sat radio, you should be able to use base #8, above, PN 5N0035501. --g
