Wasn't there a GN in there too? Sad to see that one is no longer around.
That piece of crap never worked right and I wound up having to replace the engine after the first one got windowed... Looked great but gave me nothing but grief, I was never so happy to see it leave. I'll bet the new owner is having no troubles with it too as I tend to sell cars in better shape when when I buy them.

Buys new Porsche, eats McDonald's on the drive home.

Kidding, nice garage and even nicer cars. I'm jelly.
I was trying to stay ahead of a pretty nasty storm system so I wasted no time on a long meal. Only got caught in massive rain the last hour of the drive.

Excellent! I think the 981 is better suited for early Sunday morning runs with the 911 better suited for longer trips. With so few miles, it probably doesn't need anything.

Hopefully you don't experience the door panel warping issue. I didn't on mine but it is a known problem. Don't think Porsche ever did a recall (they should have) but apparently some strong double-sided tape cures it.

I got lucky with the door panels on both cars, neither have the warping issues but I’d say it’s more because of where I’m located and most likely that neither car spent any real time parked outdoors in the summer heat day after day.

I‘m thinking that over the winter I’ll want to do something suspension wise, the X73 suspension being the front runner, some kind of valved exhaust and maybe a few OEM mods like black badges, GT4 tails, tint, etc.

I’m a big fan of how light on its feet the car feels and the 19’s have to be a part of that - those will be staying but may get some mild spacers once the suspension is sorted out.

Good to hear. (y)

Highly recommend the X73 suspension. All the standard clichés apply: firm but not harsh, planted, compliant, etc.

I had 20s on mine but a lighter set of 19s would've been more fun.

Looks like the X73 suspension is Backordered with no end in sight, sigh...
Maybe it will be available this fall.
